nhwvejournal/1031683ml[return][return]A collection of ten DW short stories (actually one has no Doctor, but does have Sarah Jane, Mike Yates, K9 and the Master). As usual, of varying but mostly good quality; I hope any of the other contributors who read this will forgive me for favouriting the two Fourth Doctor / Leela stories, one by Tim Robins and set on a commercially exploited Mars, the other by Pam Baddeley and setting settlers against indigenous people on a planet with its own bizarre lega [...]

Like any anthology this one was hit or miss. The good stories were very clever and entertaining, the weak ones were pretty dreary.I liked the one featuring the third Doctor and how UNIT got its new HQ, the Sixth visiting his summer home and the Seventh and the dream house that won't let him go.

Going back to my younger years and finding all the Doctor Who books I can find. Not the new ones but starting with the Target then the new adventures etcReally enjoyed these stories. Looking for the next one in the Decalog series

I like short stories, Doctor Who is paticularly suited to this medium.

Not brilliant. Half the stories are okay, nothing earth shattering. Best story was probably the one without a Doctor in it at all.

Enjoyable but unsurprising short stories. The theme of Lost Property unfortunately resulted in many of the plots being duplicated.
